About the role
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a skilled Project Management Analyst to support our government contracting operations through effective project tracking, financial analysis, and operational coordination.
Responsibilities
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
- Affirms project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
- Aids in developing contract required products to include technical direction plans, rough order of magnitude pricing and management of the risk register
Requirements
- 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's in related field; 4 years of relevant experience with a master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience
- Over 4 years of experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software
- Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team
- Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices and compliance requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional or other project management certification
- Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, process and reporting tools such as MS Projects

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $77,914.00 - $110,000.00.
