As part of the Global Project Leadership organization, your work directly impacts the projects, teams, and clients you work with, while helping deliver projects to benefit the patients we serve.

Parexel’s defined Biotech Division offers opportunities for seasoned Project Management professionals with a strong background running global clinical trials in a variety of therapeutics. This group focuses specifically on Biotech clients and provides all areas of support to accommodate their unique needs. This role is ideal for those who prefer flexibility, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset to successfully support these clients.

Parexel has opportunities at the Project Leader (PM) and Senior Project Leader (SPM) level for candidates with experience leading Metabolic/GLP-1/Obesity global studies. Individuals selected for these roles will provide leadership to project teams and manage day-to-day operations while striving for operational excellence—delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest quality to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and manage day-to-day operations of global clinical trials.
  • Ensure operational excellence through on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality execution.
  • Coordinate team activities, manage resources, and oversee project scheduling.
  • Guide projects through the full clinical development process, including regulatory submissions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a clinical or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience leading global clinical trials in Project Management within a CRO (preferred), Biotech, or Pharma company.
  • Experience in project scheduling, managing resources and budgets, and coordinating team activities.
  • Experience with the full clinical development process through regulatory submissions.
  • Additional years of experience required for the Senior Project Leader (SPM) role.
