Project Lead - Security - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Security Systems Crew Leads and installation teams.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and project performance.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and enforce company safety standards.
• Cookordination project execution with Security Systems Project Managers.
• Complete required documentation (timesheets, work orders, change orders, material transfers, tool logs, etc.).
• Serve as the primary customer contact on-site.
• Attend construction and facility meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security systems.
• Ensure adherence to engineered drawings, specifications, and company standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of security systems installation experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of: Card Access Systems, CCTV Systems, CATV Systems, Intrusion Systems.
• Knowledge of universal communications color codes.
• Proficiency with: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project.
• Valid driving record meeting company standards.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is mandatory.
• Proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop branch and job processes and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
• The ability to learn and teach the Company and customer project management systems.
• The ability to work at heights, off of a ladder, and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
• The ability to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
• Prefer a minimum of five (5) years’ experience of supervisory or managerial experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficient with a computer and be skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, create an estimate, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.
