Day Shift - Production Lead

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains personnel in the safe set-up, operation and maintenance of machinery.
• Assists supervisor in directing daily activities to promote and maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area.
• Troubleshoots equipment and makes appropriate machine repairs/adjustments when qualified to do so.
• Collaborates with other shifts to ensure smooth transition of duties.
• Performs quality inspections on pulping, molding, pressing and printing operations.
• Schedules employees and assists in their evaluation.
• Reviews machine output against production demands and seeks ways to improve productivity.
• Ensures completeness of SQF data and production reports.
• Fulfills plant safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Reviews Job Hazard Analysis with employees upon hire, new lines, and annually.
• Remains compliant with SQF requirements as per the location's policy.
