Security Site Supervisor - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all aspects of the security function on-site including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training
• Maintenance of contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel
• Quality assurance of service and contract compliance through regular inspections of security personnel and job performance
• Performance of operations and related functions such as payroll, incident report review, and security survey/post order preparation
• Recommendations for personnel actions and productivity/cost reduction strategies
• Emergency notification and direction to subordinates
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions for security personnel
• Physical security surveys and post order recommendations
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions for security personnel

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass state-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Pass state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• One or more years of supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
• At least 18 years old, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and active listening abilities
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately
• Ability to compile, sort, and interpret data
• Ability to research, investigate, compile information
