Project Lead

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Proposed Lead to join our team in the Government & Public Sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading proposal development efforts and ensuring that our submissions meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a Proposed Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft compelling proposals that align with the strategic goals of our organization. This is an on-site contract position, making it essential for candidates to be adaptable and ready to engage actively with our teams and clients. Key Responsibilities Lead the proposal development process from start to finish, ensuring all submissions are timely, compliant, and exceed client expectations.Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and create comprehensive proposal content.Develop and maintain proposal templates, compliance checklists, and best practices for proposal writing.Conduct thorough reviews and edits of proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and persuasive messaging.Present proposals to senior management and key stakeholders, articulating the strategic vision and value proposition effectively.Monitor and analyze competitor proposals and market trends to inform our strategy and enhance our proposals.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and gather insights for proposal development.Participate in training and mentoring team members on proposal writing and development processes.Stay updated with relevant policies, regulations, and compliance requirements related to government contracting. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in proposal development, particularly in the government and public sector.Proven track record of successfully managing and leading proposal submissions in a competitive environment.Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Familiarity with government contract regulations, compliance standards, and proposal best practices.Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software.Nice-to-have: Experience with specific government agencies or understanding of specific client needs and expectations.Soft skills: Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Technical competencies: Understanding of proposal graphics and visual presentation techniques.Certifications such as APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or equivalent are a plus.
