Job Overview Under the direction of Licensed Land Surveyor, the Project Land Surveyor will perform various office and field tasks associated with land surveying and mapping, such as ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Utility Surveys, Records of Survey, Parcel Maps, Final Maps, plats and exhibits, legal descriptions, and easement documents for a wide range of projects and clients. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: Mapping of detailed survey related drawings such as Topographic Surveys, ALTA/ACSM Surveys, Record of Surveys, Parcel Maps, Final Maps and other survey related services using AutoCAD Civil 3DDownload and process field dataPerform various computations including closure, precision, and calculations for surveys, plats, easements, etc.Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for easement purposesCompile and research title documents and record mappingAbility to perform survey field work using Trimble Robotic and GPS equipment Skills Must have basic knowledge of boundary and legal principalsMust have knowledge with AutoCAD Civil 3DSurvey field experience is preferred using Trimble Robotic and GPS equipmentRelevant experience with land development is preferred Qualifications High School diploma, or equivalent, is requiredAssociate or bachelor’s degree in surveying, or equivalent work experience, preferredMinimum of two years of relevant work experience is requiredLand Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) is preferred Competitive Salary and generous benefits including health, vision, dental, life, disability, 401K, PTO and paid holidays.
