Project Field Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

About the role

The Project Field Superintendent (Commercial Construction) is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish. They ensure that all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project plans.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to budget and schedule goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Skills

• Construction management software proficiency.
• Project management tools such as Gantt charts and task lists.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience with contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
