Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships
- Conduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-out
- Preview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal process
- Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects
- Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships
- Provide oversight and accountability for large projects
- Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices
- Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery
- Lead, mentor, and perform management for project team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in construction management overseeing large projects
- Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Current driver’s license

Pay
The base pay range for this role is $194,500 - $291,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
