Project Executive

Role Overview

The Project Executive leads and manages large or complex infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, budget, and profitability. They oversee project execution, coordinate design and construction activities, and maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture by mentoring and participating in safety committees.
• Provide leadership and support across multiple projects, supervising project teams and managing organizational structure.
• Ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and schedule, while managing risk and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to business development through proposal participation and client engagement.
• Oversee design deliverables, permits, procurement, and commissioning processes.
• Manage claims/disputes and review contracts and legal documents.

Qualifications & Skills

• Postsecondary education in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership roles.
• Expert knowledge of safety, environmental standards, building codes, and construction laws.
• Experience with diverse project types, delivery methods, and complex organizational structures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills, with ability to lead effective meetings and presentations.
• Proficiency in managing contracts, subcontracts, and legal considerations.
