About the role
The Project Executive leads large or complex infrastructure projects, overseeing safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability. They mentor teams, manage design deliverables, and ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and timeline goals. They participate in business development by contributing to proposals and securing new work, while managing project risks and contractual documents.
Responsibilities
- Foster a strong safety culture and participate in safety committees.
- Lead project teams, supervise, train, and mentor staff across multiple sites.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and schedule.
- Manage complex organizational structures, claims, and disputes.
- Facilitate communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams for design and construction needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Postsecondary education in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership roles.
- Expertise in safety, construction laws, building codes, and legal/contracts management.
- Proficiency in project delivery methods, materials, and construction procedures.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
