About the role
The Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater will lead the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects, including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon neutral solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on high profile municipal projects.
- Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.
- Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with clients and project management in support of a project.
- Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects.
- Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions.
- Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision.
- Provide input to technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Drive solutions to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program or equivalent experience in Engineering work.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Previous engineering consulting experience.
- Experience executing multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects.
Qualifications
- Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary.

Annual compensation ranges for this role are listed below by state or jurisdiction and reflect the applicable office location(s) within each. State of California: $126,423 - $220,731 Salary Plan REG: Registered Engineering

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
