Project Engineering Manager
About the role
The Project Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing projects across Refresco facilities within the assigned region. This position ensures compliance with health and safety policies, adheres to GMPs, and manages resources, timelines, and budgets while maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs, and wear required PPE in warehouse or production areas.
- Ensure food quality and safety as per corporate, customer, and governing body standards.
- Execute medium to large scale projects including line upgrades, process upgrades, new marketing initiatives, and building extensions.
- Develop and manage regional budgets, write projects, and manage suppliers.
- Communicate with all departments to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide technical support and drive equipment and line performance optimization.
- Lead root cause failure analysis and define optimal line operating conditions.
- Influence preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with OHSA and environmental regulations.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and third-party resources involved in projects.
- Facilitate communication between departments to support project goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- PMP certification preferred; Lean or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in complex assignments and technical guidance.
- Experience in beverage manufacturing, specifically in canned products.
