Project Engineering Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across project management, project planning, and project engineering to deliver ETO projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Serve as the primary technical and project liaison with customers, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage engineering changes and scope adjustments, balancing customer needs with internal capabilities and cost implications so that customer expectations are aligned and satisfaction is achieved.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure customer needs are met throughout collaborative activities with systems and fabrication engineering, operations, and sales to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and manufacturability.
• Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the ETO process to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, margin analysis, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• An engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, PMP preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering project management in a manufacturing environment.
