Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Familiarity with operation activities within aerospace or a related industry
  • Experience leading or integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
  • Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and engineering disciplines
  • Experience on a missile program
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Job Description

As a Project Engineer responsible for Program Integration, you will:

  • Ensure end-to-end integration of Operational related activities, including support Program Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, Planning Meetings, Technical Director Reviews, Working Groups
  • Lead/coordinate integration activities at the program level, to include leading Integrated Product Teams
  • Ensure program readiness heading into major milestones, facilitate communication/collaboration across related projects and SSP customers to reduce programmatic risk and ensure operational readiness
  • Career Development: Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
  • Help develop timely resolution plans of issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation
  • Help resolve systems engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs
  • Ensure proper coordination/balance of cost, schedule, and technical impacts across activities in a manner that supports schedules
  • General duties will include project management functions such as program planning, contract interpretation, and system integration, as well as cost and risk management

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with FBM Operations activities
  • Familiarity with FBM Test and Assembly activities
  • Experience with Class 1, 2, 3, STE and SME
  • Experience with support equipment alterations, refresh and refurbishment
  • Experience forecasting budgets supporting government POMs, BFRs and BODs
  • Data collection, aggregation in Excel and Access
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical, operational leads and multiple Strategic System Partners (SSP) customers to manage cost, schedule, and technical scopes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
