About the role
Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM program where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that projects meet on cost, schedule, and technical objectives, following established procedures and work plans.
- Cook up the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
- Ensure engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers.
Requirements
- Typical Mins For This Role: 5+ years of professional experience for this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience developing and executing project plans and EVM methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; thus a US Citizen.
Desired Skills
- Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
- Experience leading, building a supportive and team oriented culture and driving to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule and technical scope.
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
- Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
- Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management.
- Excellent presentation abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
