About the role
As a Project Engineer, Program Systems & Governance, you’ll drive capital projects, equipment installations, and facility expansions that support the world’s largest trading card manufacturing operation. This is a full-time, onsite role in Research Triangle Park, NC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for manufacturing capital projects, equipment installations, and facility expansions.
- Coordinate engineering activities, project milestones, operational readiness, and cross-functional execution.
- Build dashboards, reports, KPIs, and executive presentations using Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, and related tools.
- Maintain project documentation, governance records, risk registers, action logs, and reporting.
- Support leadership reviews, stage-gate meetings, commissioning activities, and operational handoffs.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Automation, Maintenance, Quality, IT, Procurement, and external suppliers to ensure project success.
- Identify and implement improvements to project management processes, governance, reporting, and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience supporting engineering projects, manufacturing operations, capital projects, PMO functions, or project management.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, Planner, Smartsheet, Kanban, or similar project management applications.
- Strong analytical, project coordination, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
