Project Engineer- Plant design and CAPEX

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to oversee capital investment projects related to fixed assets, including asset relocation, optimization, and acquisition from concept development through project completion. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company engineering, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital investment projects related to fixed assets
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Lead the design and optimization of plant facilities
• Manage equipment procurement and contracts
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety standards
• Conduct financial analysis and manage CAPEX budgets
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline)
• 5+ years of engineering or project management experience
• Knowledge of plant design, CAPEX projects, equipment procurement, and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and Visio
