Project Engineer or Engineer Intern

About the role

The Project Engineer or Engineer Intern (EI) will perform highly responsible professional engineering work in designing and supervising the construction and maintenance of roads, utilities, general construction, and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and supervise the construction and maintenance of roads, utilities, general construction, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Manage project budgets and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles.
