About the role

The successful candidate will manage traffic projects, oversee design and construction phases, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee traffic engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Manage project budgets and schedules
  • Ensure project compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare and present project reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Experience with traffic signal design and installation
  • Knowledge of traffic engineering software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD
  • Understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices
