About the role
The successful candidate will manage traffic projects, oversee design and construction phases, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee traffic engineering projects from conception to completion
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Ensure project compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare and present project reports and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience with traffic signal design and installation
- Knowledge of traffic engineering software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD
- Understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices
