Mckinstry is looking to add a Project Engineer - New Construction to our growing New Construction Mechanical team in Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process
• Track current and future jobs, review contracts, drawings, and specifications
• Assist with scheduling
• Assist in the development of the scope of work with subcontractors
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting
• Create and respond to requests for information (RFI)
• Develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals
• Process change orders
• Create billing breakdowns
• Conduct estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of construction concepts preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite required, working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint and Accubid preferred

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

Pay Range: $29.55 - $48.89 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Base pay information is based on market location.
