Project Engineer I - New Construction

Mckinstry is looking to add a Project Engineer - New Construction to our growing New Construction Mechanical team in Seattle.

Responsibilities
- Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process
- Track current and future jobs, review contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Assist with scheduling
- Assist in the development of the scope of work with subcontractors
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting
- Create and respond to requests for information (RFI)
- Develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals
- Process change orders
- Create billing breakdowns
- Conduct estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of construction concepts preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite required, working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint and Accubid preferred
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint and Accubid

Pay Range: $29.55 - $48.89 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
Base pay information is based on market location.
