About the Role
This position supports the project team on smaller, less complex projects. Responsibilities include estimating the impact of project changes, providing information to management, managing change orders, procuring equipment and materials, and participating in the selection and hiring of subcontractors. The role also involves staying current on emerging trends and analyzing and resolving basic questions and problems as needed.
Responsibilities
- Estimate the impact of project changes and provide information to applicable management.
- Manage change orders, ensuring they are completed accurately and tracked as required.
- Procure equipment, materials, and services.
- Participate in the selection and hiring of subcontractors.
- Stay current on emerging trends in the industry.
- Analyze and resolve basic questions and problems.
- Read and interpret mechanical and plumbing drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Basic ERP skills, including inquiring, reviewing, and printing job cost reports.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design.
- Ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel).
