Responsibilities
- Project planning and execution, including material procurement and expediting
- Assist in work planning for self-perform and work activities
- Oversight and mentoring of engineering staff
- Project close-out: coordinate documentation such as deficiencies, warranties, maintenance, and final payments
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and costing system
- Project cost control: monitor and track equipment, resources, and labor productivity for self-perform work
- Project document controls and procedures: coordinate and review drawings, submissions, specifications, changes, and document control
- Change management: set up, issue documentation, pricing, and change administration
- Subcontract management: define scope of work, write subcontracts, answer inquiries, monitor progress, track and process back charges
- Project administration: prepare and track progress claims and estimates
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Engineer at any level
- Preferred experience with CMAR work, wet utilities, and project document controls
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable field
Pay
$70,000 - $105,000 per year
