We are a top heavy highway contractor with over 50 years of experience in the Greater Philadelphia Market. We have worked on both private and public projects up to $300M, including paving, structures, and major DOT projects.

About the role

Salary: $65,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing all stages of the construction process, from design to completion.
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including resources, timeline, budget, and risk management strategies.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure that construction activities comply with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Implementing advanced structural engineering techniques and methodologies to solve complex construction challenges.
  • Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
  • Resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process, from technical problems to disputes with suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Continuously improving our construction processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on structural engineering.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and other related tools.

Qualifications

  • A professional engineering (PE) license will be considered an advantage.
