Project Engineer/Field Engineer (2026 Graduate)

Essential Job Functions

• Aid in monthly CPM schedule updates and narratives.
• Review and process submittals to support schedule alignment and contract compliance.
• Maintain accurate and current submittal logs, including approvals and re-submittals.
• Expedite material deliveries in coordination with subcontractors and vendors.
• Confirm material inspections for quantity, quality, and conformance with approved submittals.
• Engage in the RFI process and ensure drawing sets are current and properly posted.
• Participate in subcontractor preconstruction meetings.
• Support safety planning and actively participate in the SOS Program.
• Contribute to the S&P Quality Control Program.
• Assist with cost control by managing specific budgets as assigned.
• Accumulate data for monthly owner and subcontractor pay applications.
• Support field-initiated purchasing and production analysis studies.
• Aid in project closeout activities in accordance with contract documents and company policy.

Physical Activities And Requirements

• Regular physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods of time, and working in various outdoor conditions.
• Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather, if needed.
• Occasional office work will be required.
• Occasional heavy lifting (≥50 lbs./≥22.7 + kg).
• Strong manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment (e.g. computers, mobile devices, copiers, etc.).

Required Skills And Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Previous construction experience and/or applicable internships preferred.
