About the role

Balfour Beatty in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Project Engineer - Field to join their team. The Project Engineer - Field assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of the construction project.

Responsibilities

• Maintain certain aspects of the project schedule, as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability and while complying with our Safety/Zero Harm culture.
• Project Financial Responsibilities: Preconstruction Services, Project Start-up and Scheduling, Project Administration, Coordination, and Close-out.
• Promote Customer Relations.
• Promote Culture, Leadership and Employee Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
• 1 year or more of commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of commercial construction field experience preferred, but not required.
• RFI, Change orders, Submittals, Punch-list, Assisting with sub-contractor meeting minutes.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
