Responsibilities

  • Support the teams that build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world
  • Be on the construction site daily, interacting with construction managers and stakeholders, and be directly responsible for supporting the fast, high-quality delivery of our data center construction
  • Be part of the onsite Construction Management team and own the communication coordination with our vendors, information workflow, and coordination of document management, including requests for information (RFI), change orders, reports, and schedule updates
  • Lead cross-functional communication and coordination between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring seamless information flow for construction protocols, documentation access, and standardized procedures
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for design modifications, RFIs, and change orders, creating detailed dashboards with priority levels and deadlines for regional leadership review
  • Evaluate Method of Procedure (MOP) submissions for thoroughness, necessity, and risk assessment
  • Manage vendor onboarding processes, including security credentialing and orientation programs
  • Maintain current project management software with critical milestone updates, correspondence records, and document control
  • Coordinate and monitor owner-furnished material deliveries to ensure timely arrival at construction sites
  • Establish and manage a centralized repository for contractor-supplied construction data
  • Oversee quality assurance programs through implementation of various checklists, including substantial completion verification, safety protocols, and quality control measures

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in a data center or other critical environment
  • Experience in vendor negotiation and management for data center or upgrade construction contracts
  • Experience in construction or project management
  • 2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) experience
  • 2+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • CFC license or PMI qualification (PMP, IPMA, IPMC)
  • Experience in data center engineering or operations
  • Experience in facilities management

Pay

USA, NV, SPARKS - 96,000.00 - 166,300.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
