Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
  • Review and process submittals and change orders.
  • Coordinate material procurement and delivery to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects.
  • Organize and conduct onsite meetings with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Document meeting notes and ensure all relevant information is communicated to all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with commercial construction standards and regulations.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of submittals, process submittals, change orders, and material coordination.
  • Strong experience in conducting onsite meetings and documenting meeting notes.
  • Extensive experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  • A valid professional engineer's license would be a plus.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
