Project Engineer Construction

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aids the Project Manager and project team in day-to-day General Contract and Subcontract administration.
• Maintains job site safety and accident prevention through monitoring and documentation.
• Schedules construction activities and coordinates procurement and expediting of materials and equipment.
• Coordinates mechanical, electrical, and piping systems and reviews shop drawings and submittals.
• Reviews and updates project costs, prepares change proposals, and documents change orders.
• Researches and suggests improvements in construction methods, equipment, and means.
• Maintains As-Built plans and ensures quality control during project closeout.
• Enforces safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programs on the project.

Minimal Qualifications

• College Diploma in Construction Management, with construction internship or related work experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of general knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in Blue Beam software.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000.00 to $105,000.00, based on relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Variable compensation including short-term and long-term incentives may also be offered.

Physical Demands
