Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract.
  • Review and sign documents, and communicate with MSA staff, contractors, and clients.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and build ongoing business relationships.
  • Perform engineering calculations for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.
  • Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM, for project analysis, study, and design.
  • Aid in creating cost estimates for projects.
  • Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design.
  • Conduct field investigations or inspections ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field.
  • Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, or others.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced staff.

Pay & Perks

  • The salary for this position ranges from $79,000 to $126,500 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
