Project Engineer 2- Water/Wastewater
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and reports, from concept to construction.
- Engage in technical discussions about design approaches, budget considerations, and schedules, to achieve client goals on both design-bid-build and design-build projects.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to produce high-quality deliverables that align with client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Delegate tasks effectively, mentor junior engineers, and manage priorities to meet project milestones.
- Participate in fieldwork, including site visits, data collection, and some construction observation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Multiple years of consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water or wastewater industry.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
- Enthusiasm for learning, self-motivation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit on water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Possession of additional licensure in multiple states to support diverse project needs.
