Project Electrical Engineer

Position Summary

The Advanced Technologies group at Triton Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team working on a variety of projects that span across commercial, military, and medical technology sectors. The role involves innovation and technical problem-solving, collaborating with a diverse team to deliver high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience prototyping hardware devices
• Familiarity with schematic / PCB CAD tools
• Desired: Experience with embedded microcontrollers (Nucleo, Arduino, Raspberry PI, PIC)
• Experience using PCB design software (preferred Altium)
• Experience developing application software for Windows, Android, Linux and LabVIEW environments
• Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, Tcl)
• Familiarity with common communications protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS-232)
• High degree of comfort working on early phase research projects
• Signal processing experience for commercial, medical or military applications a plus

Education/Experience

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Advanced Degree a plus
• 5-7 years of experience in hardware or software development
