Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract.
- Review and sign documents, and communicate with MSA staff, contractors, and clients.
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and build ongoing business relationships.
- Perform engineering calculations for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.
- Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM for project analysis, study, and design.
- Create cost estimates for projects.
- Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design.
- Conduct field investigations or inspections ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field.
- Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering.
- Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, or others.
- Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues.
- Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems.
- Ability to mentor less experienced staff.

Pay & Perks
- The salary for this position ranges from $79,000 to $126,500 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
