Project Director P3 Procurement Delivery

About the role

Interfacing within the program management team made up of a planning, engineering, procurement, legal, project controls, and construction teams working on various alternative delivery projects (DBF, DBFM, DBFOM, CMGC, OMC, CDA).

Key focus will include managing the staff leading Procurement activities for GDOT’s P3 Division which is delivering the largest design-build and P3 program in the US.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing staff leading Procurement activities for GDOT’s P3 Division.
• Maintaining communication and accountability regarding development of NOIAs, IFs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Coordinating with technical experts and facilitating the process of developing and recommending strategies and solutions for project challenges.
• Representing the owner as part of the program or project management team in a wide range of meetings including client meetings, proposer meetings, design charrettes, and contractor meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience including 4 years experience successfully managing and delivering mega and/or super mega projects.
• Primary focus will include serving as the primary client liaison and manager of the Developer, Design Builder, CMGC, and OMC procurement activities.
• Preferably with experience working on P3 projects, mega design-build projects, express lanes projects, and managing alternative delivery projects.

• Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Expertise in supporting the resolution of project issues, including the analysis of and application of contract provisions.
• Intellectually curious and willing to ask questions.
