Project Director

RIOS is an international design collective dedicated to fostering wonder in the built environment through innovative design. We believe in the power of design to transform the world positively and practice interconnected design across architecture, placemaking, and landscape architecture.

About the Role

The Project Director will coordinate and manage strategies on multiple projects, ensuring the quality and timely completion of deliverables. They will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Constantly improving project deliverables through a deep understanding of project delivery
• Collaborating with internal and external collaborators to achieve project goals
• Engaging in the design process and assisting studio leadership in managing sub-consultant contracts and scope of work
• Mentoring and developing project teams, emphasizing the sharing of technical knowledge, workflow strategies, code compliance, construction management, project management, and design feasibility
• Performing the role of Project Designer on smaller projects as necessary

Requirements

• A minimum of 8-10+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor of Architecture degree or Master's of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience with REVIT, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Licensed Architect preferred
