Project Development Specialist

About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Development Specialist in Kansas City, MO to drive key pre-construction initiatives. This hybrid role begins with high-impact project assistance before transitioning to managing large-scale, multibillion-dollar accounts. Excellent AutoCAD skills, high attention to detail, and a fast-paced mindset are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop pre-construction CAD drawings, such as Permit and Anchor Bolt sets, while ensuring precise alignment with customer requirements.
• Triage and process critical order entries, contracts, and payments to clear operational backlogs and efficiently convert placeholders.
• Utilize engineering systems and ERP software (such as Compass) to perform structural design coordination and provide upfront technical information.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, builders, architects, and engineers through value engineering, constructability reviews, and pre-coordination meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience
