Project Specialist

About the role

The Project Specialist supports project teams in the construction/telecom industry, focusing on smooth project execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up new projects and maintaining project files.
• Support project documentation, including permits, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
• Help review and prepare project paperwork for final closeouts.
• Track project activity and provide accurate reporting and billing support.
• Assist other project team members as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally travel may be required.

Requirements

• A minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read and understand project instructions, work orders, and reports.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing, PDFs).
• Google Workspace experience is a plus.
• Ability to stay organized, manage tasks, and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Frequent sitting for prolonged periods.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, using hands, arms, and fingers, light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs), operating a computer, telephone, or other office equipment, and moderate noise.

Pay

The wage range for Project Specialist is $21.00 - $24.00.
