About the role

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Project Development Engineer in the federal market for our Energy Solutions offices. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest-growing part of our expanding company.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct building and system audits
  • Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
  • Write reports on various aspects of the project
  • Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3+ years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm working in the federal market
  • Familiarity with the DOE and/or Army Corps of Engineers IDIQ contract requirements
  • Experience with building simulation and bin spreadsheet modeling of ECMs and calibrating analysis to the utility baseline
  • Knowledge of building Utility Management and Control Systems (UMCS) and their operation

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Related to the federal market
  • Familiarity with DOE and/or Army Corps of Engineers IDIQ contract requirements
  • Experience with building simulation and bin spreadsheet modeling of ECMs and calibrating analysis to the utility baseline
