Role Overview
Exciting entry-level/early career leadership role at the cutting edge of the renewable energy industry. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position at the center of project management and renewable energy development.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify and oversee the development of large-scale wind, solar and battery storage projects by creating and updating project maps and databases using GIS tools
- Represent EDPRNA in the field, working with Project Managers and landowners to create, negotiate, and amend agreements, options, leases, and land sales
- Engage in community outreach and stakeholder management activities
- Organize and attend educational and networking events
- Conduct land, market, regulatory, and related project research
- Compile documentation, attend meetings, conduct necessary studies, and perform other tasks as needed to obtain permits at the local, state, and federal level
- Affiliate with efforts to secure critical transmission and interconnection contracts from utilities and transmission providers
- Prepare proposals that are submitted to power purchasers including utilities, community choice aggregators, and commercial & industrial customers
- Support internal reporting and project tracking efforts
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- 0 – 3 years of progressively responsible project management experience in energy or a related industry
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel)
- Proficiency in SAP and SQL is preferred
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise (Preferred)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
- Walking: Ability to walk .5 to 2 miles per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites.
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or scheduled form
- Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
