Project Detailer

About the Role

We are looking for a Door and Hardware Project Detailer to manage project information, review contract documents, and prepare detailed shop drawings and schedules using industry-specific software. This role involves proactive communication with customers, collaboration with contractors and project managers to meet schedule, budget, and customer needs, and ensuring the accuracy of submittals and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage project information and review contract documents
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and schedules using industry-specific software (e.g., Comsense or Pro-tech)
• Communicate proactively with customers, contractors, and project managers
• Ensure accuracy of submittals and specifications
• Collaborate to meet project schedules, budgets, and customer requirements

Requirements

• Experience reading plans and specifications
• Proficiency with detailing software (e.g., Comsense or Pro-tech)
• Familiarity with the commercial construction industry
• Strong communication, computer, and problem-solving skills
• Positive work ethic and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a drug screening
