Project Designer 3

About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Designer who is passionate about providing world-class service and committed to growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and document medium and large-sized solutions with moderate to higher levels of complexity according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management to ensure engineering deliverables accurately reflect project scope.
• Mentor drafters on your project team to ensure the accuracy of engineering drawings.
• Monitor resource efforts to stay within the project budget and schedule.
• Work closely with Sales and Project Management to identify and manage changes in scope that impact the budget.

Requirements

• Advanced technical skills and knowledge in AutoDesk Design Review and Bluebeam.
• Strong skills in reading and understanding construction drawings, architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 5-7 years.
• NICET certification II or III, Revit, or EST.

Skills

• AutoCAD.
• Revit or EST.
