Project Designer 3

About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Designer who is passionate about providing world-class service and eager to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and document medium and large-sized solutions with moderate to higher levels of complexity according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management to ensure engineering deliverables accurately reflect project scope.
• Mentor drafters on your project team to ensure the accuracy of engineering drawings.
• Monitor resource efforts to stay within the project budget and schedule.
• Work closely with Sales and Project Management to identify and manage changes in scope that require customer clarification.

Requirements

• Advanced technical skills and knowledge in AutoDesk Design Review and Bluebeam.
• Strong skills in reading and understanding construction drawings, architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 5-7 years AutoCAD.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Certifications such as NICET certification III or IV, Revit, or EST.

Individual pay rates will vary depending on the job, department, and location, as well as the individual skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, and education of the applicant.
