Description
The TSM Project Coordinator oversees the strategic movement of high visibility complex logistics shipments and requirements. This role ensures CDW complies with customer and SLA requirements, serves as a liaison between multiple internal and external partners, manages carrier performance, provides weekly updates, resolves customer satisfaction-related issues, and supports Sales, Services, TSM, and Shipping departments.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to track and manage large, highly visible, and complex project rollouts to ensure customer service level agreements and project requirements are successfully met.
- Manage carrier performance through tracking and collaborate with Claims Analyst to identify quality carriers for each specialized project.
- Provide and present weekly updates on all active projects to management.
- Perform freight price matrixes for customer projects.
- Manage freight costs for large roll-outs to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Interpret complex tariff requirements.
- Manage all Transportation Reporting for projects.
- Able to work on tight deadlines.
- Ensure projects adhere to project expectations, assess project risks and issues, and provide solutions where applicable.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in Project Management.
- Ability to thoroughly interpret complex carrier tariffs.
- Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide audience of internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to do in-depth research, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Proficient in Cognos and ProClarity reporting.
- Basic Financial Acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- In-depth understanding of freight rates and proposals.
- Experience with software database programs (SQL, Access, Pyramid, Power BI, or Cubes).
Pay
$25.00 - $28.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
