About the role

Working under the supervision of the Supervisor, the Project Coordinator performs departmental project management activities as assigned. Duties include collecting project plan updates, maintaining or modifying project plan documentation, and preparing/distributing project status reports. This position may assist the project manager in identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks, and/or establishing standards for project reporting and documentation. Where applicable, this role ensures departmental processes comply with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

This position operates Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates tasks and provides professional administrative support to one or more project teams.
  • Collects project plan updates and maintains or modifies project plan documentation.
  • Prepares and distributes project status reports.
  • Assists the Project Manager in identification and scheduling of project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks, as well as establishing standards for project reporting and documentation.
  • Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Ensures attendance at the approved work location to perform the functions of this position.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with the ability to create reports and training documentation using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the project coordination process with the ability to document procedures.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask with competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a low stress level.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to ask critical questions for project success and challenge answers provided by production resources.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to drill down several layers to identify core issues.
  • Flexible in adapting to changing conditions and priorities.
  • Reliability, honesty, and integrity, with the ability to consistently present Connection in a positive, professional manner to customers.
  • Good reasoning and comprehension skills with the ability to understand and follow directions.

  • Learning agility to become a productive team member quickly and grow within the role.

Pay

Hourly rate: $20.43 – $25.91 USD.
