About the role
The Project Coordinator will support the rapidly growing Life Sciences team of a prestigious client. Key responsibilities include assisting with project progress monitoring, budget management, contract documentation, document control, vendor invoice review, change order processing, and scheduling coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and documenting project progress and other key performance indicators.
- Aid in managing internal project budgets using appropriate software platforms for financial reporting.
- Support the compilation of contractual documentation for contract and PO issuances.
- Perform document control duties as needed.
- Issue and track purchase orders for vendors.
- Manage the monthly vendor invoice review process within invoicing software, including project management review, 3rd party auditing services, and communication with Accounts Payable.
- Facilitate change order routing and review processes within project management software.
- Assist in scheduling coordination meetings and job walks.
- Assist in financial closeout of internal budgets, Vendor POs, etc.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a Project Coordinator or Administration.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A problem-solving mindset.
- Expertise in Microsoft and Google Suite of software products, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent in financial management or controls.
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a Project Coordinator or Administration.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A problem-solving mindset.
- Expertise in Microsoft and Google Suite of software products, particularly Excel.
