Responsibilities
- Work with the on-site Construction Management team to plan, organize, and support multiple construction scopes from project inception through design, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
- Maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners, customers, trade partners, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and action items to client management, internal customers, and external parties as appropriate.
- Utilize and become proficient with construction management and project tracking tools, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and related platforms.
- Support the development, tracking, and execution of project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, milestones, and project goals.
- Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, action item logs, status updates, documentation, and other project coordination materials.
- Carefully coordinate with Facilities Operations, Facilities Engineering and Design, Construction Management, client management, trade partners, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Aid in coordinating with local government agencies, permitting authorities, inspectors, utility providers, and other external project entities as needed.
- Support schedule updates, document control, issue tracking, change tracking, meeting coordination, procurement follow-up, turnover documentation, and project closeout activities.
- Help identify risks, constraints, and coordination issues that could affect safety, quality, schedule, cost, or project delivery.
- Track project commitments, deadlines, deliverables, and open action items to support timely resolution.
Requirements
- Three or more years of construction coordination, project engineering, field coordination, or construction project support experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting data center, mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or other large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple customers, stakeholders, trade partners, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, track action items, and support project deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Working knowledge of project schedules, construction documentation, meeting coordination, reporting, and document control.
- Knowledge of lean construction practices is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technical areas beyond current education and experience.

- Candidates must currently reside in the Chicago area or be willing to relocate with an approved relocation package.
