Project Coordinator - Community Development
Evaluates proposals
- Participates in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings
- Presents labor standards, equal opportunity, fair housing, minority business and other programmatic requirements
- Makes site visits and monitors capital improvement projects
- Interviews contractor and employees to maintain compliance with U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) or HUD requirements
Monitors and Assists
- Performs monitoring visits and technical assistance visits to social service agencies
- Reviews all client information submitted by social service agencies
- Conducts housing unit inspections for affordable housing programs
- Affirmatively seeks to ensure units conform to Fort Bend County’s Housing Quality Standards
Budget Management
- Tracks and monitors budget expenditures of approximately $12 million
- Sets up and maintains all projects in HUD’s Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS)
- Prepares various reports including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports
Emergency Management
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $32.26 - $40.33 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
