Job Details

  • Cook up and support multiple construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Collect, review, and manage subcontractor conditional and unconditional lien releases
  • Prepare and submit monthly billing/progress invoices to clients
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Serve as a key point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients
  • Track project progress, ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes
  • Aid with procurement, material ordering, and subcontractor coordination
  • Prepare financial reports, track receivables/payables, and support project cost control
  • Manage administrative tasks including permit tracking, billing support, and project filing systems
  • Help resolve issues and proactively identify potential delays, cost overruns, or documentation gaps
  • Support sustainability and quality initiatives on active job sites

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project coordination with accounting/financial responsibilities
  • Strong background in collecting subcontractor lien releases and preparing/submitting client billings
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, terminology, AIA billing forms, and lien waiver procedures
  • Experience with project financial tracking, cost reporting, and budget management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), construction management software (e.g., Procore), and accounting tools
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to occasionally visit job sites
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
