About the Opportunity
Travel Congress has an opening for a Project Coordinator supporting travel-industry conferences, networking events, attendee support, speakers, sponsors, workshops, communications, and event operations. This role is centered on work where you will support project plans, timelines, documentation, meetings, risks, and deliverables. It is a full-time, 100% remote position open to candidates throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project plans, owners, milestones, deadlines, meeting actions, and status information for work connected to travel-industry conferences, networking events, attendee support, speakers, sponsors, workshops, communications, and event operations.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, notes, decisions, and follow-up actions across project participants.
- Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and overdue actions and escalate blockers promptly across conference and attendee operations.
- Organize project documents, requirements, approvals, change records, and supporting files for the Travel Congress team.
- Prepare recurring project status reports and communicate schedule or scope changes clearly while supporting conference and attendee operations.
- Support project managers and team members with planning, coordination, and closeout activities.
Requirements
- Strong organization, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
- Comfort using project-management, spreadsheet, collaboration, and document-sharing tools.
- Ability to track multiple deadlines, owners, and dependencies accurately.
- Clear meeting-note, follow-up, and status-reporting skills.
- Good judgment about escalating risks, blockers, or missed commitments.
- A pre-employment background check is required.
