Job Summary
About the role
Serve as project coordinator of the Economic Development Administration Sustainable Polymers Tech Hub WISE workforce development project.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, coordinate and lead activities of specified project to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Support day-to-day coordination of WISE and University of Akron component activities, reports and scheduling.
- Manage and conduct UA/high school/community outreach activities, track course and student metrics and milestones, and manage tuition vouchers.
Requirements
- Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in project management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer software required.
- May serve as direct first-line supervisor over exempt staff (and non-exempt staff, if applicable).

Pay
- $51,792 annually and is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
- Standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems. Some off-site outreach required. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
